Had to put a new one in the other day, and since then the pointer keeps 'jumping' to the edge of the screen when you move it. Fecking annoying. I've tried all the troubleshooting things, but none of that has worked.

I bought a cheap optical and it did exactly the same! it was sacked and replaced my a microsoft jobby. never had a problem since.

Bios settings are back to defaults etc. Maybe the CMOS battery or Power Supply...
