The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 As usual with my dealings with any of the sports clubs in the City - the process is tedious, boring and drawn out and answers are not obvious. Does anyone know whether Leicestershire CCC actually sell replica shirts as their website doesn't mention them at all and two people I've spoken to on the phone weren't sure but will call me back. At least they were going to last week, but never did. So I appeal to you, the people of Leicester. Can I get one? If so - where from?
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Author Posted 11 September 2006 Sorry - scrub that.. I've finally found out that the kit is supplied by Boundary Sports, whom you have to buy from.
john_lcfc Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 you can get em down grace road tph but isnt it wrong time of year to be buying as in end of season or are they cheaper?

They are cheaper this time of year.. well a lot of the stuff is. Probably the stuff they'll change for next year. The stuff you purchase often comes without the sponsor's logo on anyway. The quality of some of the stuff is really good and I sometimes wear it for East Malling when we are playing 'friendly' cricket. It's actually getting very difficult now, round here, in the Maidstone area, to get whites/equipment etc. I've been trying to buy a few pairs of padded inners for keeping for ages and just can't find them in the shops, so I'll have to buy from the internet. I'd get the Leicestershire one day/Twenty20 shirts but I don't like 3/4length sleeves really.

The People's Hero Posted 14 September 2006 Author Posted 14 September 2006 Just bought one of the polo shirts online. They have some decent stuff.
john_lcfc Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 cricket is the way foreward, especially after hull
lcfc_jme Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 cricket is the way foreward, especially after hull If that's the case, Grace Road will need a massive expansion and more fast-food vans to sell beer from!
The People's Hero Posted 14 September 2006 Author Posted 14 September 2006 I've received a load of stuff today - it's great stuff at good prices. But they did omit to send me one item and send another in the wrong size. I've just sent them a stinker of an email.
