Head Honcho Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 My usual mechanic is on holiday and I've been using someone else. Problem is he's had one of my cars for 3 weeks now and it sounds like he still hasn't fixed the problem. He's asked me to go and see him tomorrow and I want to know where I stand legally as to regards what I owe him. He has been working on the car and has actually solved one of the faults so by rights I probably owe him something but where do I stand if we can't come to an agreement, I mean the cars only worth two grand and there's no way I'm paying a fortune to get it fixed if it's still not 100% Don't know if any of you have had a similar problem but would appreciate your advice if you have.
