LCFC Official Site goes Mobile!

There's also a competition for tickets to the Saints game, in relation to the new mobile site!

Follow the foxes on the move!

http://mobile.lcfc.co.uk - you can actually view the WAP site using a regular web browser like IE6 or FireFox - so you don't even have to spend any money to find out the answer to the quiz question. :teehee:

About time we had a mobile site - it's simply criminal not to have one these days. ;)

Well well. We're finally catching up with every other company/business and getting a WAP site. I'll have to take a peek at it later. Glad you are providing updates though Lookus-doodlus :D:thumbup:

(sorry if this reply is garbage, I felt sorry for you 'cos nobody else replied!)

:P;)

 Thanks!

lets hope it doesnt take 5days to update like the OS

From what I can tell, it just converts anything on the OS' news section into WAP-enabled documents. So the mobile site will get updated at the same time (give or take a few minutes). That's my guess anyway. :)

It's fine my friend :yesyes:

I've gotta get used to replying to your posts again before I go home to General Chat haven't I?? :P

Naturally. :D

Jesus Christ (excuse my blasphemy) I've been posting in LC for way too long now lol... Maybe some good threads need to begin popping up in General Chat again and I'll make my transition back home :P

The best thing about GC atm is the painting by numbers :(

OS or WAP Site - which is better in your opinion lookus??

The OS of course.

It doesn't cost me to view it, and it's more detailed. ^_^

There we have it - the OS (as slow and long as it is) is officially better than the new mobile WAP site

Which one updates faster then?? Or does that remain to be seen?? (if you say the OS, I'm not even going to consider looking at the WAP site)

Remains to be seen - but my assumption is that the WAP site just converts the content from the OS itself.

So they should in theory be updated at the same time. :yesyes:

So as soon as the OS is updated the WAP site should be done in tandem?

Seems as though we're still gonna have to wait an age for updated news then.. I had high hopes for this new site, but you've just gone and burst me bubble

if you get to orange's leicester section there are 2 good message boards a leicester one and a championship one with some good banter between different fans

I was just thinking the other day how great it would be if there were a mobile version of the LCFC website, as every time I tried to access lcfc.co.uk on my mobile it said "response unknown."

Imagine my delight when I accessed mobile.lcfc.co.uk only to see "response unknown." :banghead:

You'd think they could get compatibility up to scratch. Guess not.

Imagine debating the Israel thread on your phone... your thumbs would have the bone strength of a 94 year old man within two days.

Well say if you were on a long journey it would give you something to do then.
