Joe. Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Alright I'm annoyed at the vast majority of Britain who supposedly say Beckham should be put in the England squad again and solve all of our problems. 1. He is not good enough anymore- he can't run, cannot take people on. We have a lot better on the right than him. 2. Why was he dropped in the first place? Because he wasn't good enough. How can Beckham solve all of our problems? What is he really going to do? Not a lot in my opinion. I'm not saying he is a bad player but he's not good enough. According to The Sun, 90% of us want him back... Why? He will NOT solve our problems. We have Lennon, Wright-Phillips and Gerrad who should all be ahead of him in the pecking order for right mid. Let's hear what everyone has to say about it......
Guest Gist Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I think he should still be in the 22 man squad his experience could help I think.
Ultra Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Let him prove himself worthy of a starting place at Real first. He's gone downhill big-time in the last two years. It's a shame brain-dead tabloid readers can't recognise that.
lildave3 Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 No way should he be picked again. SWP, Lennon, Gerrard and even Pennant are better than him on the right, i praised Mclaren for dropping him, i don't want to criticise him for selecting him again.
Joe. Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 If he plays well at Real, then he should warrant his place but at the moment he doesn't and the thickos in the tabloids still don't realise this. They think he will come back and solve all our problems....
