Jonbluefox9 Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 If I was being filmed during a game I'd probobly look like a right tit but tbh between 3pm and 5pm on saturdays ne and nobody else in L1 can give 2 flying fooks!!! To be fair to bluearmy5, he's sitting in the West Stand and he's right. He'd look an absolute tit if he was to sing whilst sitting there. We all know what it's like when one person carries on singing after everyone else around them has stopped. You still feel and look like a tit. It would be the same for bluearmy5 if he started singing in the West Stand although the difference would be that the people around him would at no point join in with him. At least when you carry on singing when everyone's stopped, you've had people joining in with you at some point.
Tommeh Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 sad to hear that for him mate. so who do you now go to games with? whoever you come with it'd be nice to see a few new (and loud?) faces up in f1. see you saturday perhaps. I wouldn't mind coming to F1 / E1 for one game kinda missing the Kop not much but a little bit! L1 is too good atm to move!! might move for a game though maybe in the new year to try and get some songs going!

In an ideal world I'd like to be in the Kop but my experience of it last season will take a while to forget. If there was a section like L1 in the Kop but with a few more people in it I wouldn't mind moving back. I do worry though that without L1, visiting supporters would hear even less noise from our supporters.
SystonFox Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 what happened in the kop that was so bad? you talking about the cov game? i dont know whether where i sit is considered the kop or the east stand corner. my seat is directly in line with the touchline/corner flag right at the back. section f1.

Nah, it was just dull. I hadn't sat in the Kop since leaving Filbert Street and it was a big disappointment for me. I know L1 isn't very loud either but at least when in the middle of it, it sounds pretty loud. There were very few occasions in the Kop last season where I felt like I was in the middle of an atmosphere. I'm all for what you're trying to do though. Hopefully against Villa, because all L1 season ticket holders have had to move and because block K is about half the size of L, there will be singing in two blocks of the East Stand a little closer to the Kop so the atmosphere might spread through the whole of the East Stand due to the smaller gap between the two more vocal areas of the stadium.

With some people trying to be in K and ending in in the main A+L Stand hopefully they can bring the chants round.

Hopefully so 'cos I'm expecting a loud, intimidating ( ) atmosphere with a lot of songs all night long. Hopefully 'til I get home after a win. But that is only a hope
