Automatic gig last night

Saw these guys at Astoria last night. Have to say I was quite impressed!! A bit 'teeny' for me but they put in a good performance.

The highlight was an amzing cover of Kanye Wests golddigga!! Unbelievable!! the lead lad was on the flute and the crazy screaming lad sang and rapped the lyrics. Very impressive stuff, crowd loved it!!

Anyone else seen them live?? Ur views??

Will be interesting to see where they go from here..........a lot of their stuff is quite samey. Theyll need to mix it up a bit next album to be a success in my opinion

Really?

I would rather have rats gnaw my ears off than listen to them

i wouldnt buy their album, dont get me wrong!!! I was impressed with their live performance though. But I suppose the fact that their version of golddigga - not their own tune - was the highlight probably speaks volumes

enjoyed recover though - thats a good un!!

maaaaaate

I went as well, fking AWESOME!!!!

Agree about the venue, first time i've been to the Astoria, i was expecting a big ex-theatre sort of thing

But i suppose the close proximity of it held for a better atmosphere

I thought Mum-ra were a good supporting act, but the Automatic were brilliant, quality songs and a quality performance.

EDIT: I've got the kanye west gold digger edit on my computer if you want it, it's on the Radio1 studio thing, i was hoping they'd play it so made my night when they did. The start of monster though is top stuff.

I went with a girl from my halls but unfortunately (in this instance anyway) she's not the tallest so like a kind guy we stayed back on the raised bit near the bar, i prefer getting in to the front though <_<

Theres the Gold Digger Shot

I went the loughborough uni gig, was immense at the front
