Rincewind Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I've just gone to load a game (Mahjongg) and a window box has popped up say it cannot copntinue because 'Widows cll (cil) (cli )? Not sure of the letters. But it say the it may work if I reinsall it. How does a component go missing? Never had a problem the last time I installed it.

What is the missing component called exactly?
Thracian Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 So good this thread we've got two of em started...
Benji Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 whenever i get error alerts on windows i just copy the message and paste it in google. You usually get sent to a site where people are asking the same questions, and eventually you'll get an answer of how to sort it out.
Rincewind Posted 25 October 2006 Author Posted 25 October 2006 I cant copy it. Its in a window itself. I just cant install it. Might be a faulty CD or I have my Resolution set wrong. The error appears before its installed at set up after I put it in the drive. Not to worry. I've just tried a Flight program. I now remember bwhy I never played it much. I'm crap at it Don't ever ask for me to be pilot of your plane. You'd be safer with Stevie Wonder. I'll change the resolution and see what happens. I was just bored and wanted something different. I can always go back to poker.
Rincewind Posted 26 October 2006 Author Posted 26 October 2006 Problem solved. I found the instructions and according to them if you reinsytall it then you have to go to add programs and do it from there. I have another problem which may be cleared up in the next 72 hours. Before you hit the keyboard with a witty reply this is a Norton AV one.

Rincewind Posted 27 October 2006 Author Posted 27 October 2006 They don't thats why I mucked up. As for The Norton AVX I thought I was installing an upgrade that could be added to my old one. I kept on being told it was out of date. I had to uninstall it and download the new one. I only did it because the free one I was using is out of date. I left the scanner running last night before going work and it was still scanning when I got home. Didn't think I had THAT many programs.
