The club are very pleased to announce that Brendan Phillips will be taking over as first team manager with immediate effect. Brendan, or "the Bear" as he's affectionately known, has an excellent track record in management including leading Nuneaton Borough from the Southern Midlands to the Conference in the late 90's. Other previous jobs include Bedworth United, Stafford Rangers and Halesowen Town. coalvilletownfc.co.uk briefly caught up with Brendan who said: "I'm delighted to be back in football and at an ambitious club like Coalville Town. "I am looking forward to my time here and I think it is going to be an exciting time for everyone connected with this football club." Link
