My trip to forest

Started off well, me and my mate showed up at the ground, saw a few familiar faces, one of which being teeno's.

Took our seats, songs started up, but then I noticed the stewards around us had obviously been told "take no shit" and immediatly told us to sit down or be thrown out, lovely. A tad heavy handed perhaps which resulted in yours truly getting a warning.

Two glorious chances in the first half, gutted we didnt take them, and I had a feeling we would rue those later, we did! However, when we went a goal down myself and a few fans around me didnt give up, however the majority just seemed to sit there chins rested on palms, not an ideal way to support the team when they need you is it? you know who you are.

Then something happened I hope I will never ever witness again (No, not the site of Nathan Blake in a city shirt) but when David Johnson came over to retrieve the ball, the man in front of me began doing Monkey Chants, I don't care if he is a rival player NO player should be subjected to that. You would have thought people would have learned by now. Obviously not for a minority.

Then the highlight of the evening, Dublin far post, across goal, CONNOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........unbelieveable, All the pain of forests equalizer two years ago was rebounded back on them, however at the final whistle,a 50 pence peice was thrown in my direction from the upper tier narrowly missing city fans, other than that, a decent night out, bring on boxing day. (Oh yes, and I was on TV Celebrating like a mad idiot when Connolly scored lol)

Yep I was very close to you cos I saw the guy getting ejected by the heavy-handed stewards. I didn't know (and nobody around me did either) why he was thrown out, but if what you said is true then he certainly deserved it. Prat.

The best thing was the "£31, so we'll stand" chant :P

Really upsetting and angering about the monkey chanting :(

Don't want to have that associated with my club and I will willingly beat the living daylights out of anyone that did/does it, discrace.

Still, a last minute equiliser is always nice :)

I think so mate, I was the lad talkin to teeno before the match in the concourse area, black jacket, dark hair with a quiff.

Yet again, boring bollocks from you.

I feel the ban coming for you soon. :)

I do agree about the stewart in the lower bridgeford stand where you were located last night

Most of the stewards in the ground are very mardy and over react

Most of them take medication before the match and at half time so that they get high on beating the oppositions fans up
