Playing to our strengths

Recommended Posts

The last time we were in this division we talked about playing to our strengths such as root one football and dead ball situations. The squad we have this time round is very different (to say the least), but I was wondering what does every one on the forum reckon our strengths are this time round?

Personally I think are strengths are:

-Gillespie down the right wing

-Playing crap football (but lets not get into that)

-ermm....I think ill leave it at that

Strengths, what strengths? We're useless all over the park.

We have a goaly that can't kicky, a target man striker that can't head.

A "natural finisher" that can't finish.

A good defender that never plays.

Connolly always seams to play to deep for me, he is always lookinkg to move out wide or into deep areas for a ball into feet, shoulldnt that be scowys role, when connolly first came i thought he would play off the big man running onto things and be a clinical finisher.

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that our midfield are incapable of creating decent chances and that he hasn't got a decent strike partner, so he goes off to find the ball. I also think CL has asked him to go wide in the hope of creating chances for our midfield but only Nalis seems to see that.

Having said that he's missed a bucketful of chances. :w00t:
