The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Lee Philpott is a fine exponent of this brand of Soviet dancery. But what is the dance called.. Lee Philpott's Dancing
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Author Posted 3 December 2006 Here he is demonstrating the 'send-the-defender-the-wrong-way-with-your-eyes' routine. Against an imaginary defender. Superlative Wingplay.
Nationwider Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Imagine, if you will, the mouthwatering fantasy of Nils-Eric Johansson and Lee Philpott dovetailing in glorious slow-motion down the left wing. Apparently, Brian Little tried to sign Lee Philpott after his earlier attempts to sign a glacier and the Eurasian Plate fell through.
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Author Posted 3 December 2006 I didn't think I'd see the day when I'd be able to honestly say 'Lee Philpott would walk in to and probably improve this side'. The People's Hero Posted 4 December 2006 Author Posted 4 December 2006 Lee Philpott and David Oldfield have now cut their teeth in the managerial mudpit. Let's throw them in as our #1 and #2. They can alternate as manager/assistant each week. One can enjoy doubling and the other halving training intensity. They'd be the perfect foil for one another. Enough chit chat, let's get them in.
