Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 December 2006 Posted 4 December 2006 "DIC owns the Madame Tussauds Group and the Travelodge hotel chain as well as one third of the London Eye." That makes it sound like they only own a section of the wheel.

Brilliant for Liverpool if it goes through. They could end up buying the title just like Chelski!!
jumbo mills Posted 4 December 2006 Posted 4 December 2006 congrats liverpool, surely this group have overlooked leicester
Maybes Posted 4 December 2006 Posted 4 December 2006 Brilliant for Liverpool if it goes through. They could end up buying the title just like Chelski!! At least it would make the prem more interesting as then man utd chelsea and pool would be competing

lcfc_jme Posted 4 December 2006 Posted 4 December 2006 At least it would make the prem more interesting as then man utd chelsea and pool would be competing Aye yeah the more competition in the Prem the better. At least Chelsea will struggle to buy all the best players in the world as well. High-priced transfer wars on the way
SystonFox Posted 5 December 2006 Posted 5 December 2006 kind of good news for liverpool but also the more people/groups that buy into big clubs the more likely it is one set of fans will be left in tears in years to come. someone will get bored and leave the club in the shit.
Joe. Posted 5 December 2006 Posted 5 December 2006 Good for L'pool, crap for the rest of the Premiership. We all moan about how much we dislike Chelsea because of all the money they have and this takeover will be exactly the same. Boring boring Premiership... <_<
gatesheadfox Posted 5 December 2006 Posted 5 December 2006 at least the money is being invested in a big club, with a consistantly good fan base over their history. chelsea annoy me as they do not fit this description. liverpool or man u to win in the future would not upset me too much
