Tits Up - Part III

It is not a matter of opinion that things are worse now than under Adams. It's a matter of fact. Look at the stats. Lower league position. More home defeats. Fewer away wins.

The thing that did it for Micky was...wait for it...red cards and suspensions. Four sendings off in the first ten games and at least two of them dubious. Without doubt Connolly cost us three points at QPR. Dublin and Tiatto possibly cost us between 2 - 4 points (West Ham and Burnley - both home draws).

At that time those lost points were sufficent to keep us out of the play-off places. However, Adams still managed 11 points from his last six games - play off form. In short, the recovery was well under way. Didn't stop you fickle boneheads from hounding him out though.

Just as well the board went for CL who is at least brilliantly managing Adams crap signings as they sail sedately down the Championship.

That is until he brings in his own crew of Jocko second raters. Then it will be full speed ahead onto the rocks of Division One.

Is this what you boneheads meant when you said that our season was still 'salvageable' round about the beginning of October?

I thought moving a central defender up front to replace the dismissed striker was more instrumental.

However stupid Connolly was, if you have a striker sent off whilst two up, you shouldn't lose the game.
