Guest Posted 4 January 2005 Posted 4 January 2005 A thought..... If Micky Adams is such a fantastic manager, why is he still out of a job? It's not like there's been a shortage of managerial positions. Discuss.
Chandler Posted 4 January 2005 Posted 4 January 2005 I suppose you mean the vacancies at West Brom, Southampton and Wolves Lisa? Messrs Robson, Redknapp and Hoddle. Is it one win between them Lisa or none - I forget? Smegson is still out of work and Baggies' fans want him back. Don't ask me to fathom the minds of club chairmen. Most of them are more stupid than you lot
Guest Posted 4 January 2005 Posted 4 January 2005 Thank you for clearing that one up, Chandler, I can't believe how stupid I have been. Hallelujah, I've seen the light, start the "Bring Back Adams" campaign now. Adams be praised!
MON Posted 4 January 2005 Posted 4 January 2005 I can't say i would have him back now, it would be harsh on Levein. But i would have stuck by him.

But i would have stuck by him. 51848[/snapback] No future under Adams, at least Levein is giving chances for Stearman, Dawson, even though not many, it's more than Adams ever did. And he's looking to reduce the age of the squad. It was awful with Adams and you know it, we had to move on for the benefit of the club, for a future, for a new beginning, that doesn't involve changing the squad every season.

He clearly wasnt happy with MAs constant changing of the entire squad at the end of every season and was highly impressed with CL and his plans for the future. Lets give CL the support he deserves and move on from the MA era to hopefully better things in the future - the guy needs time!
