I heard on the radio that the FA have said that there isn't the technology available for ball/goal line indicators, and that they couldn't implement it any, as a directive from FIFA is required first.

Sepp Blatter said last week that although he's against video refereeing, he's for getting some kind of thing to judge if the ball has gone over the line.

This was before the Man Utd Spurs incident, so I'm guessing he might feel stronger about it.

I think we need some sort of goal line technology. We don't get many incidents like this, so it it wouldn't slow the game down.

Chris Coleman was saying he has a device in the dug out at Fulham, which can review offside decisions in under 10 seconds. I'm afraid that is 10 seconds too long, which slows down the flow of a game. There are far too many contentious offisde decisions throughout the course of a game, it would become a farce if we implemented such a devise. I know we all want justice, but as already mentioned by a number of posters in this thread, part of the game is to do with injustices of decisions.

They do have a device which can judge whether the something has crossed the line, but it cannot distinguish between a ball, a players foot, etc.
