Floating Fox Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Lee Moris Now at Yeovil and scred the winner at the weekend. That is his third goal of the season. Strangley ever time he scores the score is 3-2 Anyway well done to him
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Lee Moris Now at Yeovil and scred the winner at the weekend. That is his third goal of the season. Strangley ever time he scores the score is 3-2 Anyway well done to him Congratulations to Lee Morris for his performance last Saturday, especially given the fact that he was injured for quite some time with a broken leg when he was with us. Keep 'em coming, Lee! Good job! (But just another sad example of an ex-Leicester player who does better someplace else)
Joe. Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 (But just another sad example of an ex-Leicester player who does better someplace else) But we were in the prem though when Morris was with us weren't we? There is just a slight difference in class between League One and the Premiership. It's good to see him back though. It's never good to see a player who never plays because of injury.

We were in the Prem when we signed him I think... but most of his time here, we were in this division.
lildave3 Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 How many appearances did he make? And how much of his time here was he injured for?
lookwhaticando Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 How many appearances did he make? And how much of his time here was he injured for? We signed him in February 2004. He left in August 2006. Well, he left before that but that's when he signed for Yeovil. He made... get this... two starts and eight sub appearances! In Two and a half years at Leicester! Can you believe we paid 120k for him? That's what happens when Micky Adams ventures into uncharted 'youth' player territory. He was essentially injured the whole time he was here. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!

lookwhaticando Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 That is shocking...Micky Adams buying youth? Lee was 23 when we signed him in '04, turning 24 just a couple of months later. Look what happened to him! Mickeh just can't buy youth - it's too risky for him and the player.
