How can I put a picture/signature when I've written a message?

Please help? Just wondering how I put a picture and some words at the bottom (that always comes after every message you've written) in the box when you've written a message?? I've got my avatar sorted, but just wondered how you did this?

Go on edit signature,type in what writing you want and just insert a image the same way you would in a post,put the URL in the bar.
