Job agencies

Does anyone know which Leicester Temp agencies deal with stewarding/eventing? My company are considering redundancies and doing away with helping non-drivers get to work so I may be one of the ones they let go. Thinking about just doing temp work and if I'm offered a job whilst doing it consider that. No sense in worrying about things. I will have more free time and I am able to adjust my living standards to my income. Not a young man anymore so I'll just plod along until it's time to retire from work or this earth whichever is sooner. :D

learn to drive/ride a motorbike.... keep the perm job as long as poss Ken.

In terms of agencies... I dont know Leicester ones Im afraid, but frankly unless you get a decent one that keeps you in work all the time, you could find that using agencies can be an unpleasurable experience.

Saw one that made me smile in a window of one on the corner of Humberstone Gate and Charles Street. It was in a warehouse I think and the ad said 'Must be able to work with alcohol' ME ME ME.  :worship:

I don't really mind what I do. I've no qualifications apart from my SIA lisence and that entails long hours. I saw one ad where they need refuse collectors. Its an early start but involves a lot of lifting. I'd do that if it was reasonable money hours. You get to finish early which is a good thing and I should imagine it doesn't require A or O levels (no offence to anyone that does this job) TBH if they had found me a site from the beginning that was accessable for me I would have no complaints. They said they have been working towards this new system for two years. Why wait that long before deciding where people were going to be based. It could have been done by replacing suitable people as staff lefyt.
