The People's Hero Posted 19 January 2007 Author Posted 19 January 2007 Never under estimate the power of human stupidity. Someone wants to send me a hell of a lot of money upfront. They want tutoring for their daughter at 2 hrs twice a week for two months. They have decided to pay me a £50 arrangement fee for my troubles. I then requested my rate of £15 p/h. My maths isn't too bad... so 15 x 2 (hrs) x 2 (sessions a week) x 8 (weeks) = 480 So I was expecting something in the region of £500. I think there must have been some kind of misunderstanding.... because they are saying they are sending me far more. I think I'd better clarify this.

By the sounds of it, there's a reason the daughter needs tutoring. If she's as dumb as her parents, that is.
The People's Hero Posted 19 January 2007 Author Posted 19 January 2007 I'm thinking take the money and therefore enter in to this dodgy and confusing contract, spend the money, then think about the consequences later.
