Lord Nibblington Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 I only went to get a bowl of cereal and another bloody wicket falls Just saw the England wickets falling on Sky - LAME!!! What is it with this f**king reverse sweep that we're not capable of but keep trying? Strauss nutmegged for a stumping We're flying along now, 174-6.... we might just make it to 200! I consider that an amazing success. No. Really! Not being sarky or nothing!

Lord Nibblington Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 184-7. 200 looks a long way off! Roll on the World Cup 192 - 7, oh yeah! As for the World Cup... remember, we've got Kenya and Canada in our group. So at least we'll have a couple of matches where we'll be in amongst it before we lose!

I wouldn't be that confident- they might pick people who can play the game and have some self respect - that would be good enough to f**k our lot.
Wycombe Fox Posted 30 January 2007 Author Posted 30 January 2007 We can do this!! Only 91 needed off 24 balls!

Lord Nibblington Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 We can do this!! Only 91 needed off 24 balls! Plenty of room! We could get another 144 with that many balls left!
Wycombe Fox Posted 30 January 2007 Author Posted 30 January 2007 260-8 finished! Not a bad score compared to others innings lately but still not good enough. The manner of some (all?) of the wickets lost was a joke - see Strauss's hop, skip and nutmeg and Flintoff's attempt Need to beat Australia on Friday to stand any further chance - I won't be setting my alarm for that one!
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 By the sounds of it, some of the fielding towards the end was comedy gold as well!
