JJ-AFC Posted 17 January 2005 Posted 17 January 2005 As you can possibly guess from the username and the fact I'm a Scotsman that I'm an Aberdeen supporter (if you cared like. ) I should be down in Leicester over this weekend visiting the girlfriend (who's a Leicester City fan btw) and it's all well and good. Until and awful thought crossed my mind. Sunday 23rd January. Aberdeen vs Rangers - Live on Setanta Sports. Anyone got any idea of any boozers that might be showing this game on Sunday? 2 o'clock kick off like. Setanta Sports is a pay-per-view channel with the SPL coverage that is actually free on Scottish pub subscriptions. Haven't got a clue if English pub subscriptions will have it though. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Steven Posted 17 January 2005 Posted 17 January 2005 Having read around this, it would appear that someone with a Sky deal, a lot of pubs, would then need an additional subscription for the Setanta Sports SPL. As you will be in Leicester that has to be unlikely. <_<

Rather not be there mind. Only other thing I can think of is if there's any Irish bars in the city? They might have something due to the whole Celtic link.
