Prem clubs are now freezing or even offering cheaper season tickets (if you book early enough) to fans. Have we finally hit the peak? Lot's of fans have been saying for a while that prices are obscene and driving people away. It used to be £25 for a good Prem game now that's a normal price for crap championship football. I hope that those clubs who lower prices see an increase in attendance and that starts a more general trend of reducing the money involved in football and specifically the ridiculous amounts that fans have to fork out every week. Clarets supporters who buy a season ticket for next season will get a free season ticket for the following campaign should Burnley win promotion. Club chairman Barry Kilby said: "The television money handed to Premiership clubs allows them to make big cuts. "Our margins are tighter but this pledge is one way we can reward our loyal fans for their support."
