stez Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 or the george orwell book, but the programme on channel 4 tonight at 9pm, i watched it last week and it was bloody awful, and not just the new fangled GM, but the old way (selective breeding) too. but at the end of the last one this woman pulled out a petree (sp) dish of 'meat' (beef) grown from a cows stem cells. i'm not quite sure how i feel about this, it seems gross, but no animals have had to die to get me my slab of meat. anyway it's on again tonight, give it a whirl (if you're not eating at the time!)

What a great way to solve the housing crisis! Lets get rid of all the cows and build new houses on their grazing fields
TheLCGs Posted 27 March 2007 Posted 27 March 2007 It's a bit minging how they grew loads of copies of that presenters nose And I think it was last week them cows that were really muscley, made me feel sick.

It's fun finding out how far we can push the boundaries though don't you think? Last night they showed a few potentially crucial medical breakthroughs, like the cancer killing cream for example, and the new bladder for that sick women.
