Simi Posted 30 March 2007 Posted 30 March 2007 Gordon Bale Woodgate Terry Richards Beckham Gerrard Hargreaves Giggs Healy Rooney I'd much prefer to see a fully fit Michael Owen up front. Although he will probably struggle to regain his old form.
Spee-d Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 It is a bit daft to leave Rooney out you gotta say. The only non-englishers who could maybe get into the team are Given, Finnan and Duff/Giggs on the left.
lookwhaticando Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Welsh teams have played apart in English football practically since its conception but the Scottish sides only want to join in because they havent any money. Personally, I would love the two Glasgow Clubs to join our Leagues because of the history of the clubs and the passion of the supporters. It would enhance our game but it is a non-starter unless we agree to have a GB team nationally. Exactly. They became part of the FA and have worked their way up as a result. The Glasgow teams just want to crash the party at the expense of teams who've been trying to get to the party for many years. That's what I object to. Should have joined our league to begin with... around the time Cardiff and the likes associated themselves with the FA.
