Tommeh Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Link thingy Not good to see, but plainly I feel that Blackburn and Watford simply don't have the fans and Chelsea have enough massive games of which they need to fork out for. I hate seeing things like this when theres plenty of other clubs in the prem and championship which would easily sell out for a FA cup semi final.
Flexx Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I tried getting tickets in the Watford end but they don't allow them to go on general sale. Only members can buy them, don't understand why they don't give Man U extra tickets if Watford don't sell there end out.

Flexx Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Its becuase the pricing is a joke. Tickets are £50. I wouldn't have even bothered if i knew they were that much. That is a joke, when you can just watch the game down the pub anyway

That is a joke, when you can just watch the game down the pub anyway Yeah thats what they were all saying on radio 1 anyway. Take your family to the game would could ya best part of £200 alone on ticket plus travel and food. Might aswell go for a weekend break on the coast
Geo V Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 I dont know if it is about pricing. Watford only returned 1500 tickets which isnt that bad and Blackburn havent that many fans anyway!

Blackburn have never had any fans remember Wembley!! Personally £50.00 or not it's an FA Cup semi final how many more times will Watford reach this stage probably never if it was Leicester I would pay anything to be there just to say I was there!!

Same here. It's ridiculous that Watford wouldn't sell them to the general public though - surely it's better to fill the ground with neutrals in the Watford end then to have thousands of seats empty. Plus surely Watford are getting a percentage of the gate receipts so the more people in the ground, the more money Watford will receive. Doesn't make sense.
Joe. Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Its becuase the pricing is a joke. Tickets are £50. That's just the cost of an avarage game (and the rest) at somewhere like Chelsea....
Guest Gist Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 My mate and his dad are going the Chelsea game and their tickets were £35 I think the problem is all the cheap tickets have been snapped up by the fans who go to games often like season ticket holders and the members and leaving the expensive ones for the people who don't go often who are not willing to pay that price. Which is understandable when they can just watch it on TV.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 April 2007 Posted 15 April 2007 Same here.
