Surely he can't be the best current English goalkeeper in the world :o

Jame's is a brilliant shot stopper, but his command of his area is shocking. Really unconsistent. Abit of a donkey at times as well, but that was a quality save.

I think you've summed it up nicely there TB, but is there anyone better ?

Personally, I think Robinson has been brilliant this season. Thats if your talking about English keepers. I would say Petr Cech would be the best non-english.

Kirkland has the worst record this season for letting goals ina dn the amount of games he has played. I frankly think he is over rated.

I agree - Kirkland has been pretty poor this season whenever he has played. He can't deal with crosses and he has let down bad goals in, especially the goal Lee Carsley scored against him in the Merseyside derby.

Everyone makes mistakes ;)

Yeah; I think Kirkland is overated, as is Robert Green. But then they are both young and commanding your area comes with age... step forward Ian Walker

I don't think Robinson is anything special, but he is the best we've got at the minute.

I have to agree about Green and Kirkland - Overrated...

How can Green be overrated? He hasn't really had the chance to prove himself in the Premiership and he is playing in goal for a struggling Norwich team with (possibly) the worst defence in the league.

I've watched him on a number of occasions. He's not as impressive as people make him out to be. And I think playing over 20 games in the Premiership is suffice to judge him. Granted, he's playing behind a relatively poor defence, but the likes of Walker and Robinson have played in relegated teams and have performed very well in the past.
