The wil be without the injured trio of Cafu, Nelson Veiga and Sandro, who plays for Portuguese first division Vitoria Setubal. Defender Nene is suspended for the game in Praia. Algeria top the standings ahead of the Group Eight tie with seven points. Cape Verde Islands have three points from their first three matches in the campaign for a place at the 2008 finals in Ghana.
