isaidno Posted 25 June 2007 Posted 25 June 2007 From Batracer Due to a widespread increase in recent cheating and game abuse in the pursuit of manipulating a game to improve a players WR, the WR calculation pages have been suspended. We hope to restore WR once we are entirely satisfied it cannot be manipulated. In addition, we are considering a future replacement WR system which will not focus on the pursuit of being "#1", but instead provide a basic summary of your statistics together with a graphical indication of your achievements relative to the rest of the userbase.

isaidno Posted 25 June 2007 Posted 25 June 2007 As part of the communities ongoing need to crack down on foul play, we have now introduced Academy and Pro-Level championships. New drivers must now reach a minimum level of ability before being allowed to take to the track with more experienced competitors. Next we plan to introduce an Instructors badge for Pro-Level players educating drivers in the Academy. Note: All championships before this change was introduced are classed as Pro-Level championships, even if you are not a Pro-Level driver. Pro-Level To graduate from Academy to Pro-Level the following threshold has been set: Wins: 3 Poles: 2 Fastest Laps: 1 Podiums: 10 Investing in Kool Tools will automatically take you to Pro-Level.

Got a bit worried though when both cars crashed out in Melbourne. Now 2 points of the constructors with 5 races left. 0 wins, 0 poles, 3 podiums and 0 fastest laps is my record, i think 2 of the podiums having came with the BMW methinks. Im happy with the academy league, maybe ill actually do well..

In the Academy ones the cars performances have been altered for a more level playing field it says on the site
