stez Posted 23 June 2007 Posted 23 June 2007 the man seems to have a punk band/album/song to relate to almost any topic mentioned here, in the hallowed halls of foxestalk. see if you can find a topic in the world to stump the little tyke! 1) worms
Deathside Posted 23 June 2007 Posted 23 June 2007 1) worms I been searching for ages for a picture of the back cover of Run Rudolph Run by The Yobs The B-Side was The Worm Song and the picture sleeve was like a double A-Side thing - But I can't find a picture of it anywhere The best I can offer you is this link to The Yobs Christmas Album on Amazon - The Worm Song sits proudly as track 16 The Yobs were the alter ego of The Boys and used the name when they were in dispute with their record label
Deathside Posted 23 June 2007 Posted 23 June 2007 Asparagus There's almost no answer to that FezLar... But not quite... Not exactly a punk band but favourites of John Peel nonetheless Half Man Half Biscuit did a song called Asparagus Next Left You can find the lyrics HERE if you really want to
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 June 2007 Posted 23 June 2007 Well it's only fair, I've had my turn. Stunning work.
Deathside Posted 24 June 2007 Posted 24 June 2007 Kinnex You what? - That's a made up word! OK - A bit of googling indicates that 'kinnex' is some kind of doll Therefore you get
Daggers Posted 24 June 2007 Posted 24 June 2007 I'm not accepting that sorry excuse for a band as punk - nor am I accepting your inability to see through my spelling errors. It should, of course, have been K'Nex. Which, as every fule kno, is like meccano - but plastic and better in every conceivable way. And my next challenge is "Carbon Fibre Racing Shoe"
Deathside Posted 25 June 2007 Posted 25 June 2007 And my next challenge is "Carbon Fibre Racing Shoe" Daggers - I do believe you're cheating or taking the pÃss (or both) So what is a Carbon Fibre Racing Shoe then? - Some kind of device to make you run faster I guess?? Take your pick from: The Slits - Shoplifter (Do a Runner) Angelic Upstarts - Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner Peter & the Test Tube Babies - Run Like Hell Right - I'm off to bed PS: GenX were great in their early days
Daggers Posted 25 June 2007 Posted 25 June 2007 GenX were great in their early days A mate used to be Keef's personal pharmacist/person to do stuff back when the Stones were good. He tells a nice tale about an end of tour party and the names that were there; all of a sudden there was this banging on the door. H opened it and there was Billy with two tarts, f'cked off his tits, ranting about coming in... "Don't you know who I am?" screams the bleached mockney. "Yea, you are Billy Idol - now f'ck off!"
