Joe. Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 England cruising to victory in this one: England 225 (50 overs) West Indies 130-8 (32 overs) Unfortunately, Chanderpaul is still in as expected...
Ultra Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 Doesn't make any difference, if no-one stays in with him. Windies 146 all out. Good bowling by Anderson and Stuart Broad. Now all we have to do is sort the batting out..
dandannieldanok Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 Chanderpaul must be getting quite annoyed with his teammates now, how many more times will he save them for total utter embarrassment.
Joe. Posted 1 July 2007 Author Posted 1 July 2007 Nice to see Broad doing well for himself today. The West Indies are pretty much embarrassing themselves on the international scene at the moment. Chanderpaul is the only player who is consistently putting in top notch performances. He's just looking unstoppable at the moment.
Joe. Posted 4 July 2007 Author Posted 4 July 2007 West Indies 278-5 (50 overs) v England Chanderpaul 116 off 122 not out surprisingly. He's just incredible at the moment.

Joe. Posted 4 July 2007 Author Posted 4 July 2007 Prior's just struck up his 50 EDIT: And is promptly bowled for 52 <_<
Geo V Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Get Maddy to open and send Cook to learn his trade in the Championship so he can continue his amazing start to International test cricket. We never learn when it comes to the one dayers and still play like turds when it comes to the first 15 overs. Team selection stinks as well as Monty should be bowling despite his dodgyness in the field.

Milky Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Get rid of Bell. Trouble is, Bell is a very promising young batsmen, and with time could become a really good player for us. He's certainly earnt a place in the Test side, but yet to score a century in the one day game. Tricky one.
Joe. Posted 5 July 2007 Author Posted 5 July 2007 Anderson Fined After Clash A few little personal battles out there yesterday
Micky Ruddle Posted 7 July 2007 Posted 7 July 2007 33 is Chanderpaul's lowest score on the tour. At least we have got him out now. I don't rate Mascaranas much for England, quality club player, i don't think he is good enough for England.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 July 2007 Posted 7 July 2007 9 - 0 - 71 - 0 Oh dear, Leicestershire's finest. Least Monty kept the scoring rate down, eh?
Micky Ruddle Posted 7 July 2007 Posted 7 July 2007 Well done England You couldn't reach 200 against one of the poorest teams in the world. Says much for us. Pfft
city1993 Posted 8 July 2007 Posted 8 July 2007 Well done Stuart Broad, brilliant bowling in the first one-dayer, unfortunately, none of the other bowlers could get rid of gayle and chanderpaul in the other internationals.
Simi Posted 8 July 2007 Posted 8 July 2007 Very dissapointing One Day Series. WIndies are a side we really should be beating. But well done to Chanderpaul
Joe. Posted 8 July 2007 Author Posted 8 July 2007 Well done Stuart Broad, brilliant bowling in the first one-dayer, unfortunately, none of the other bowlers could get rid of gayle and chanderpaul in the other internationals. But absolutely shocking yesterday. We just got hammered yesterday. Cook gets in and then straight out again, making 20 odd every time and Pietersen hasn't found his feet yet. For me, the batsmen just aren't good enough at the moment.
Geo V Posted 8 July 2007 Posted 8 July 2007 Its great to see the Windies with soem aggresive young bowlers IMO as it is great for World Cricket to have that group of Islands flying like they used to. As for us, we simply dont like change in either personnel or mentality. Just before the World Cup we brought in Loye to open and he dd really well. His scoring was fast and he unsettled some great bowlers. Thst what we need. Someone to start well at the top of the order to give the opposng bowlers and captain a headache instead of this pitter patter starts that we have at the moment. Lets show some bloomin aggresion with the bat and ball and approach the one-dayers like a 20/20 and see if we manage to do well. We seem to manage 4 an over in test cricket but struggle to get 5 an over in one-dayers! Its crazy!!
