Bert Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 Maybury is a major doubt for Reading away along with Dion Dublin and Jordan Stewart who are doubts but not as major. if Maybury doesn't make it who will cover?? Canero or Stearman? ps sorry if this has already bin posted
TrickyTrev Posted 24 February 2005 Posted 24 February 2005 Canero has been the one on the bench of late so I would suspect he would play. If Stewart is out as well, then I expect both Canero and Steraman to play, with Canero on the left,

Or he might decide to play Tiatto at left back, with one of the midfielders occupying a narrow left sided midfield position... Pretty much what Tiatto does then.

You shouldn't change a winning team just so a youngster can get experience (by that I mean start Stearman rather than bringing him on as a sub, which is probably the best way). If we continue to lose games with the experienced players we may as well throw in Stearman and see what he can do. Sure it might knock his confidence a bit playing in a losing side, but this is a man's game and he has to cope with it.
