Geo V Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Leicester all day. There is something that watching your club side live on a Saturday does for you. It gets into your blood big time and is only occasionally replicated when England (or for me Greece also) manage to make it to the latter stages of a major Competition. Because the National team is seen only occasional and very difficult to actually go and watch live (we cant all go can we?!), it helps create a bit of a distance for me. I want them to win but would go as far as saying that if there is a great BBQ on or some social event, I am not that bothered about watching the game. If Leicester are playing and I cant get to the game but they are on SS, I`ll be there even on a family members birthday
Webbo Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Silly question really, England not winning anything for forty years hasn't helped city has it? I'm desperate for both to do well, but if I was forced to make a choice between city winning the Premier league and England winning the World Cup I'd chose England.
DB11 Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 I thought this was a bumped topic as there was one just like this a few weeks ago. Anyway, Leicester hands down every time

Thats fair enough... I want to see england win the world cup just like any other england fan...I am a passionate england fan but with Leicester that passion is far greater... So like i said before its club for me anyday. In an ideal world we would have both teams be successful.... but this isnt a ideal world is it?!
