a) I am no less vulnerable to making a mistake than anyone else.

b) It would be totally wrong to be "critical" of SB's selection. Beaglehole didn't "select" that side. He was allocated certain players and had to do the best he could.

c) If any of the 278 people who went to the game think I've been unfair on anyone I've not read it.

I totally agree on SB not having his usual players to pick, and we had a very young inexperianced team playing, must have been an average age of 20 ? The lads took a tonking but it will help improve them in my mind, we played better with 10 men for some strange reason.

Their keeper actually made at least two very good top drawer saves, especially after they scored their 1st, we had our best spell just after their goal but couldn't sustain the pressure and they broke at will after that and punished us with cross field balls from right back/midfield to their left winger who just took the p1ss !

I thought Adda took his sending off pretty bad, he looked frustrated on the pitch, and the punch he threw was girly ! Saying that, the West Brom player should have got his marching orders as he kicked out before he was twatted !

Quite agree about the sending off. The fouled WBA player reacted in a threatening manner and the incident developed from there. General consensus was that both should have been sent off. And yes, we did play far better with 10 men.
