Burnley have to be the best time-wasters I have ever seen.

1) Spicer's half-hour hobble off the pitch followed by jogging along the touchline was the highlight of the game for me.

2) Also a fifty-yard walk from Lafferty when he went off, spectacular stuff.

3) Then they kept it in the corner at the end and one of them even bent down to pick up the ball for a throw-in and accidentally on purpose kicked it ahead of himself, like he was one of the Chuckle Brothers.

Conclusion - Well, to be honest the wasting time was a waste of time anyway cos we could still be out there now and we wouldn't have had a shot on target let alone scored. But it entertained me in a morbid sort of way.

It worked for them as well with only 4 minutes added and 6 subs used, mind you anything longer than 4 minutes would have had people jumping of the back of the stands to get out.

One bloke at the back of F1 got very agitated when 4 minutes was read out but only because it was too long. Was quite funny that, too.
