Martins in a tough position now. I suspect he is safe from the sack for a while yet because of the financial implications. so what do you do if you’re him? double down on this style? or adapt it? I suspect he will try this style with Smallbone in the team. Might make a difference. That experiment has to last a few games. but beside that I don’t see it improving and I don’t think he will adapt.

Yeah I know, and I went to 3 of those 6 games. Even against Partick we nearly threw it away playing nervous sloppy passes. But I think it’s more that gray lost his way and made some poor signings more than losing OHora.

Russell Martin football is a million miles from what Hibs play, and in general very different to the SPL. O’Hora would have been a good defender for us under Brian Little, but not this.

I did warn you all in the transfer thread but no one believed me! Hibs are now defending better with Kerr in his place.

I always want t support our younger players and give them the benefit of the doubt. He really was not helped by having Okoli next to him whose positional awareness is non existent. I think he'd be alright as a wing back, but in a 4 he becomes wildly exposed. Don't think I've actually seen him put in a tackle yesterday he just ran after people That first goal how was he so far out of position from a goalkeeper rollout?? Such a simple and basic goal, and then he was turned, lovely finish but should never have got into that position.

I am usually pretty critical of moaning fans, and its easy to say when I don't get to many games. I must admit I hadn't appreciated just how bad the football is, how disorganised we are and how we are absolutely clueless in defence. After that it's hard to fault the fans really I just wish more of it was aimed at Rudkin.

My first game of the season as I live in Scotland. Hadn’t appreciated just how bad it is. The whole club is rotten to the core. Amateur manager and pundit turns up and just gets his players to put pressure on the ball and stay organised and it’s easy for them. Our goal was the one movement in the game where we ignored Russell tactics and put the ball in behind. Otherwise we wouldn’t have scored in a million years. Not reacting sooner to the clear upper hand that Peterborough had tactically was criminal. oh, and O’Hora is just as bad as he was for Hibs. Could’ve told you that months ago.
