Guest Daniel Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 wanchope would be quality. he will add a bit of flair and pace to the side. Mate, i could write what you know about football on the back of a stamp, he's a facking clown. Rubber legged ****, we better not sign him.
Brown Nose Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 It makes sense that if Scowcroft goes to either Palace or Norwich (pleeeaassee!!!), a new right sided player needs to be added. Therefore, Louis-Jean was the subject of a firm enquiry from Adams. He knows that if Scowcroft goes for about £600,000, he will have the fee to purchase Louis-Jean and the wages to pay him and Gemmill. The hold-up with the proposed Scowcroft deal means that Adams is a bit red-faced as he's got no wage budget left to pay Gemmill so is stringing him along. Are you following this? As I understand it, Canero was destined to be the main man at right back this season but both his fitness and form are a concern. His defending is just not good enough. Adams would be happy to sell Scowcroft if he can get Louis-Jean and Gemmill. Canero would then be freed up to play a right midfield/support role. Makin has been signed to add cover to both full back positions and at present, is showing Canero up for the dud of a defender he is. If Canero was any good at right back, Makin would have played left back at the weekend ready to play there in place of the suspended Tiatto for the first three games. Neither Wilcox nor Stewart are up to the left back role long term. See, it all makes sense when you think about it.
Scow Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 Micky won't want Scowcroft to go. Micky has currently spent all his money, so a 400k bid for Louis Jean is extremely unlikely at this moment in time.
Pele Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 I hope Scowcroft will go Gemill would be a good back up and louis jean would be good aswell
Pele Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 I dunno how good he is he sounds good but hes from forest not many good player are good from there
Guest Daniel Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 Plenty of good players have come from Forest. Pele do you seriously know what our on about? Scimeca was good and now plays in the premiership, jenas was amazing, keane. So many good players have left Forest.
Pele Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 But blue mistress there have been shit players to like rogers i hope he dotn turn out like him if we sign him
Guest Daniel Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 HE aint the best player in the world i must admit, but most players that leave the trees are good. There a feeder club, Harewood, Williams, theres too many to list.
Oli Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 One of the best players in the world came from there Keane. Sheringham and Collymore came from there to. I am sure there are more plenty good players they have produced, they raise good players then have to sell them because they aint good enough.
Mark Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 Collymore came from Southend. And Sheringham came from Millwall
Oli Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 Bloody hell pele backing up some thing i said. Nice one mate.
Oli Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 Yea Southend weren't a big club when Collymore was playing so Forest bought him and gave him experiance at a higher level. And the same with Sheringham.
Guest Daniel Posted 3 August 2004 Posted 3 August 2004 , i think TB has warned Pele to back him up or face the consiquences.
