What Happened In L1 Today?

Was there a fight between a few of the fans & some coppers today? Could'nt really see what was going on from where I was sitting but I saw alot of the police rush up there - just wondered what went on.

I also saw that someone got ejected after no more then 5 mins

Did anyone see the forest fans in the West Stand during the game aswell? At first I thought they were just taking the piss when they started jumping around when Forest scored but they were also cheering at the end of the game.

From where I was sitting in the Famly Stand there were 2 people that got ejected during the game - one kid in the first half at the start of the game - looked about 12/13 years old. Then an angry woman got thrown out in the second half...dunno what either of them were for.

I counted at least 5 being taken out.

I will post some pictures later from the train station.

I saw alot of the forest fans getting a police escort from the ground - did any of their lot get ejected?

There was about 5 or more thrown out. One man was carried out by his arms and legs, the woman, little kid, another lad towards the end and a few more really early on.

Forest fan here... Leicester fans were being ejected throughout the game. There was loads at the start and they just kept being ejected. Don't know why to be honest. One lad was about 12  and one guy had to be carried out by his arms and legs lol Don't think any of our lot were ejected

why were people being carried out early on? Jeez - today has been a nightmare for Leicester City. well atleast we have two games in hand over most teams below us. They were saying on the radio that the fans should have got behind the team more at the end or something.

I duno - Im hoping he'll stick dion upfront for the next game if hes available. Hes bagged more than MDV has since he arrived and hes been playing at the back lol

How was Tommy Wright when he came on anyway?

i really do not know why they were throwing all the Leicester fans out to be honest and to make it worse they had to walk right past our fans

Thats the way they always do it at City game, eject them after making them walk past the away fans - one of our fans are gonna get hit by a coin or something similar one day...

We were never going to win once you took the lead. This is no disrespect to your tactics but you got the lead then made sure everyone got behind the ball and kept shut until the end. We've not managed to hold on until the end on many occasions in the past so it's a good skill to have. Bit of time wasting by Gerrard and certain other former fullbacks from throw-ins but we would've done the same if we'd been in your position. Aslong as we stay up then I hope you do too so we can meet again next season. Revenge! :)

Was quite funny at times though with the guy being carried and the young kid but stupid taking them past our fans

yeah i think we have what it takes with Megson to stay up and keep clean sheets without playing well (today perfect example) and I think you will stay up as well.

You need to start scoring Connolly and DeVries don't seem to be doing much though at the minute

We might as well play some of our academy strikers. They scored another 5 today and they've been scoring 4 and 5 goals in recent games. Probably not ready yet but watching Connolly and de Vries today makes me think anything would be better.

My sentiments exactly...!

The three lads thrown out in the first 5-10 minutes were sitting right next to me, they didn't do anything wrong at all. The chat was that they were getting thrown out as revenge for what happened at the last home game. Must have thrown out like 10+ people during the game, pathetic.

Anyone in L1 see the plod in riot gear down in the concourse? Funny stuff.
