FOREST4EVA Posted 6 March 2005 Posted 6 March 2005 Before you think about that mate, you need to get a decent goalscorer that will get you some goals on a consistant basis From what i saw today that is what was lacking

Our top scorer Connolly has 6 goals which is pathetic, and it's hardly surprising either. Today epitomised his entire season for us - his decision making was poor, his shooting was abysmal (the one in the second half which he completely sliced but somehow the ref decided to give us a corner ), his positional play is a joke. God knows how he's made it as a striker from what I've seen of him this season - he's too small to be a problem for opposing defenders in the air, he's not built up (like Rooney or Lee Trundle) so he can't outmuscle defenders, and he doesn't have blistering pace either.
FOREST4EVA Posted 6 March 2005 Posted 6 March 2005 I hope that CL can find a consistant goalscorer so that you don't get sucked even more into the relegation battle Wish You Luck
