Monk Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 I've been away for a month. Still in Singapore in fact but I finally have 5 minutes to check out whats going on. 5 Points from 21. Thats not good by any stretch of the imagination Leicester 0-1 Burnley Bristol City 0-2 Leicester Leicester 0-0 Cardiff Leicester 1-2 Southampton Burnley 1-1 Leicester Leicester 1-2 West Brom Ipswich 3-1 Leicester Could someone please fill me in. Are more shit than we were under Taggs and Tash? Or have we just been unlucky. What have the team selectionsw been like, and was Kaebi any good last night? I will be back next weekend in time for the Christmas fixtures. Is there any hope or are we doomed to relegation? Yours in anticipation. Monk
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Bit like trying to get your first shag I think. You stop being defensive and go out to put one in the hole. It doesn't work though, and you keep missing the target while they put a few past you. But you're getting confidence and reckon you'll pin one soon. The Cardiff game was rampant foreplay though - rather exciting but no big O.
Monk Posted 12 December 2007 Author Posted 12 December 2007 Nice metaphor. How long until we meet a team who'll lie down in front of us then? We clearly need more firepower Ho ho ho

Monk Posted 12 December 2007 Author Posted 12 December 2007 What has happened to Taggs anyway? Milan had him tar and feathered I reckon. He's not with the club anymore as far as I'm aware?
act smiley Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Bit part of the coaching team or something I thought?

Geo V Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 The main outcome of the last month is the confirmation we still can get promoted.
Monk Posted 12 December 2007 Author Posted 12 December 2007 We can still get promoted? Well, peel my tangerines, I'll drink to that! Does anyone want to stand outside the walkers on boxing day and sing the 12 days of Ian Ormondroyd with me? Could be a Jolly FT outing.

Yeah luckily for me my employer is paying for me to come home for christmas. I don't think I'd be shelling out of my own bank account to fly back to watch us play at the moment!

Monk Posted 13 December 2007 Author Posted 13 December 2007 I want your boss Yeah. Google the Intercontinental Hotel in Singapore. Its nice. My first business trip!
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Nice metaphor. How long until we meet a team who'll lie down in front of us then? We clearly need more firepower Well that's the thing - once we pin one we'll do it again, until we've become rampant midland slappers and everyone will have no choice but to lie down in front of us.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Yeah. Google the Intercontinental Hotel in Singapore. Its nice. My first business trip! It looks awesome
