The Stig Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 It makes a big difference for me, however I don't think our atmosphere is any worse than most championship grounds
the_bowman Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Yeah, atmosphere does make a big difference. I went to one match (Barnsley last year) and we sat in the VIP area (got some tickets off me dad's mate) But there was no singing, hardly anyone joined in with the Mexican wave and to be honest it wasn't like a real football match. Burton Vs. York earlier this season. When we came from 3-1 behind, scored a goal and went on to win 4-3, the atmosphere was immense, and it really made the game so much more enjoyable. SO, I think i wouldn't go to a game if there wasn't going to be any atmosphere for enjoyment, only if I wanted to go, for example, to see a certain player.
LE8Blue Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 ive always said its alright watching football at home on tv but you dont get the match atmosphere which you would get when your in the staduim
