Jordan Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 New Year's Day is a big sports day in the U.S. because of all the college football "bowl games" that take place, but I'm a big ice hockey fan so my attention right now is turned towards the Buffalo Sabres vs. Pittsburgh Penguins game that's about to start. They've built a temporary ice rink on the field of Ralph Wilson Stadium, where the Buffalo Bills NFL team plays. The temperature is currently just under the freezing point and it's snowing, and the wind is expected to increase to 20-30 mph as the game goes on... they might break the world record for attendance at a hockey game... this is gonna be a fun game...
