Savage can pass aswell. He's still a class act, 33 or not. I ask you this, which would you have chose this time last month?
ashwj Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Don't get me wrong, he was great when he was here, doing the running for Lennon and Izzet. But at the minute I don't think he's what we need. I think if your going to have two propper wide men then you need two midfielders who can spread the ball around. I know Savage is good at breaking up attacks but he was always a bit headless. I think Oakley is more composed than Savage and at 33 I'm not sure how much running Savages legs have got in them.
