Mark Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Possibly Depending on the team Micky picks, like today in a friendly it was Dublin and Scowcroft up front - whats that suggest? Long ball Dublin and Wright please! Scowcroft nowhere
gagandeep Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 we will get promoted, im confident, the team, barring izzet, is better then the one that was promoted last time round.
Teeno Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 IMO i think we will be top 6, hopefully top 2. This team is no worse than 2 years ago when we went up.
Mark Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 How can you say that? Its a well known fact we're an extremely poor side without Izzet, no one could replace him, especially with no money Playoffs if we're lucky.

Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 I tend to agree that Play Offs will the most realistic outcome. It really depends on what other signings Micky brings in...... If we get Connolly, then I will be fairly optimistic. He'll score over 20 goals for us if he plays reguarly.
Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 just look at the other teams?? theres about 14 teams who can get a top 6 place this season put your money on wigan though B) ALOT stronger

Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 just look at the other teams??theres about 14 teams who can get a top 6 place this season put your money on wigan though B) ALOT stronger Wigan will be strong - They probably have the best strikeforce in the Division. Automatic promotion contenders IMO.

Plus, they link up so well too.

gagandeep Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 so does benjamin, dont forget him Oh i wish i could! :: , hes alrite in this division, when he has some confidence.

Mark Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 They are mates thats why, know each other from their Bristol Rovers days together.

Hullfox Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 I'm no mathmetician but surely 14 teams can't get a top six place. Only six can.
Hullfox Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Personally didn't think Izzet had a great season in div 1. He's a far better top flight player. I reckon we'll miss him more if we go back up.
