SamL Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Will it be good? What sort of question is that? If we win it might be good but if not then probably not. Depends on what you're doing there to be fair. If you're going for a night on the town yes, if not no.
Tommeh Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 It will be the sort of away day where what you do on the day/weekend as a whole will determine whether its any good. For example I've never been to a bad away day this season possiblt plymouth as it was forking miles, poor game, poor atmsophere etc. but ALL the others have been quality even charlton where ok we played terribly but the day as a whole was great likewise Colchester and s****horpe poor games and everyone on the tele was moaning but when you get a few mates and go on a roadtrip its atually quality, Hull also - not knowing where the ground was and getting stuck in a lift!! Infact in all honesty he best away daythis season has probably been Burnley on a tuesday night certainly in the league anyway as forest and chelsea were awesome. But it just felt like proper football, there were less than 500 city fans there, we played terribly and got a lucky point but its the little things like jumping out of a mates car in Halifax after my mate burnt his clutch out! And getting lost in Huddersfield. Brilliant night. So all in all if you go for the day get there early, enjoy Blackpool, have a drink, sing some songs and generally have fun 9 times out of 10 loosing 2-0 wont ruin the day completely.
