potter3 Posted 26 January 2008 Posted 26 January 2008 Sponge bob needs to be sorted out on the kit, he's all red at the minute. pff If you want white writing, do it yourself
Guest Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 we've had a white away kit since we last got relegated We had it, but we didn't use it. Does anyone know if the Kit Manufacturer's has anything to do with the Manager or Chairman because Ollie at Argyle I think was Puma. There is no way we will have one of the big names producing our kits whilst we are languishing in this division. All of the clubs outside of the Premiership that have big name kits are apparently buying the kits from the same catalogue that any pub team could use, and then having their branding on it. The big name manufacturers will only produce the kits for the club if they know that they will be getting money back from it, i.e. Premiership teams with a large plastic fan base. I cannot see our club taking the risk of paying an Adidas or Nike designing our kit, even though logic suggests that with the right design our fans would buy significantly more shirts etc.
