andyh1884 Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 This season will see the introduction of a Red Third kit That is your task Fans Forum people, that is your task! My first ever Leicester shirt was the old red away kit, it was awesome
Daggers Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 My first ever Leicester shirt was the old red away kit, it was awesome Hear that Naysayers? Here that? Fudging "AWSOME" it was...and there's those that poopoo the whole notion of having the winningest colour in the world as our reserve strip. You and me, andyh1884 - you and me can change the world

Retro is the way forward. It is seriously the best kit I've owned. It looked so cool, I specifically asked for the red one cos it was so good

andyh1884 Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 do you know where I may find a picture of it? I may be able to oblige in the coming days, watch this space.....
Guest Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 The notion of the red away kit was championed by those of us who see images of a certain St Gary of Linekar resplendent in a red kit. However, we were outvoted by a majority who cited "Florest" as a reason for not going down that route. The fact they were disgusted by the fact we cannot have a white away kit, which was the favoured colour amused myself, as there was no mention of the Sheep.

We're barely rivals anyway nevermind the fact that Arsenal have a white away kit.

Personally, I'd prefer a white away kit opposed to a red one. Mind you, Coventry's away kit doesn't look bad at all.
Daggers Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 Coventry's away kit doesn't look bad at all. It's sodding brilliant - an amazing shade of red. Not as good as this one though:
Daggers Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 All credit goes to the Foxes Trust. So that's why I can't extend my credit card limit
andyh1884 Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 It's sodding brilliant - an amazing shade of red.Not as good as this one though: Pah! I'll trump that Now, I can't believe anyone will say our current away kit is a patch on this. It's a classic, timeless. I think it was the 86/87 season, there's no sponsor as we were sponsored by a brewery back then (John Bull) and it was deemed inappropriate to have it on a kid's shirt. Oh how times have changed.
Filberts lovechild Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 I agree red is definately the way forward! Although I've got to say that our strip this year is awful. Bought it nevertheless, but Topps Tiles?????? It's a joke! I work in Nottingham and sometimes wear my city shirt just to peeve the F*rest fans off, I get some right stick for our sponser (lets be honest F*rest fans haven't really got a lot else to laugh at us about!)
