Racist ref, ref was bent, ref was biased...blah, blah, blah...wahh, wahh, wahh...

You're right, the ref went onto the pitch on Sunday with the sole purpose to make sure Leicester lost and Blackburn won!!

...Bollox, take your blinkers off clowns.

I'm not biased (well I am an LCFC fan)- I did think the penalty was deserved but you have to admit that the sheer number of decisions which did not go our way is more then a little unnerving. I lost count of the times De Vries was fouled and the number of times our players were pulled up for fouls which in the Championship wouldn't have been.

I hear you, but it's the same as any team you might be following - you'll only see the decisions given againt you.

We both agree on the penno and perhaps De Vires should have had a couple go his way, but for most to say that the ref was bent, biased, racist and 'I want to dance on his grave' is a bit much...it seems some/most are just grasping at straws for a wank performance from the Leicester strikers trying to get on one of the hundred long balls punted over the top...

Kentons slid in and got no where near the ball

you can't have a go at pederson as any player would have made the most of it

and i feel honestly that that is what he's done. the initial contact isnt enough to bring him down, but then pederson steps on kentons leg and trips

if he'd have gone down straight the way id accept it, but he carried on then made the most of kentons leg.

as an unbiased fan i think the ref wasn't great but you have to remember he didn't give some decisions blackburns way aswell. i dont think you got the rub of the green and it wasn't a penalty for me, but it was a daft tackle to make and you cant blame pederson for falling over. i think more of you would say it was a penalty if it was pedersen tripping kenton and leicester in the semis.

Morten Gamst Pedersen has claimed there was no controversy surrounding the penalty that won Blackburn their FA Cup tie against Leicester.

With the score level at Ewood Park the Norway international went down in the box under a challenge from City defender Darren Kenton.

Some felt Gamst Pedersen made the most of the tackle that resulted in Paul Dickov winning the contest from the penalty spot.

However, the former Tromso star has hit back and stated he was caught and that referee Neale Barry made the correct decision.

"There are no doubts that he took away my foot," said Gamst Pedersen to VG. "He tackled me, but I managed to jump over him.

"Then, I tried to reach the ball again, he lifted his foot to hook me again. Then, I fell.

"I was trying to play the ball on to Dickov in the middle. I didn't look for a penalty."

This is from Sky Sports. It's interesting that Pedersen says Kenton tackled him in the initial challenge. So no foul there and there's no way the second "contact" was a foul. I think anyone watching has to agree that Pedersen deliberately fell over Kenton rather than trying to avoid him. Still, that's all in the past now - bring on Watford.

thats a poor thing to say by pederson to be fair. if anything it was the initial contact that he could have used to get the peno, the second phase was him play acting by standing on kentons leg

It wasn't a penalty, simply because the initial contact wasn't the reason for Pedersen falling over. The referee was in a good position to adjudge that, but decided to rely on his linesman who wasn't in a much better position. If the referee didn't give it in the first place, then he has to rely on his own instinct. It's not as if he was at the other end of the pitch, was it?

Nothing we can do about it now, but it's still galling nonetheless.

No - Kenton went for a tackle which wasn't a foul , Pederson then went to check the other way and simply fell over Kenton legs which was still in a position from his original tackle !

Robbed !

Oh bog off with your sanctimonious drivel. Being a football fan is all about moaning at refereeing decisions, chances not taken etc. It's got bugger all to do with clutching at straws. If we all sat back and accepted every result, then it wouldn't be the same, would it.
