Bedford Fox Posted 14 March 2005 Posted 14 March 2005 After traveling up to blackburn for yesterdays game i was disappointed by a few leicester fans(?) rather than being happy with staying in the game with a premiership side they decide to slaughter players. Unlike these so called supporters i would much rather stand up and sing supportive songs. But these people decide it would be more helpful to shout "You useless Twat" or "Get him off he's sh*t" Please can someone tell me how this helps the team?

Mark Posted 14 March 2005 Posted 14 March 2005 I'm sure it was extremely frustrating watching De Lump after travelling all that way
Jonbluefox9 Posted 14 March 2005 Posted 14 March 2005 What was frustrating was travelling all that way and seeing us lose to a dubious penalty. I truly believe that all of the players out there on Sunday gave 100%. The fact that de Vries was up front on his own and very rarely had any midfielders supporting him may tell you why he struggled to get involved in the game. I'm sick of fans getting on players backs but if they pay their money they can make their choice.
Ash Posted 14 March 2005 Posted 14 March 2005 You're right Bedford Fox but alot of people do get frustrated by some players, and there way to getting the anger out there system is to shout abuse at them.Just a certain way people release anger/frustration.
Frenzied Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 The kinds of people that tend to abuse their own players during games are just those sort of people can barely kick a ball themselves and tend to know very little about the game. Jesus, I've sat next to some embarassingly thick people at football matches before that tend to be all mouth and no brains. I also guess that many of the idiots that abuse our players are those people that used to sit at the back of the members stand at Filbert Street or at least they're people that have learnt from them. BTW the people that sat there were racist, vile scum - just the kind of people that have held Leicester City back over the years.
