Rincewind Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Just wondering what the converstion is. Last month ( bill date 8th) I went over on my 3G allowance mainly because of a couple of long dowloads. Luckily they were near the end of the time period. It costs me £15 monthly. Sent 995.13 mb Rec. 2059.70 mb Total 3054.83 mb Time 57.36.34 I think I am only around 54 mb over but not sure what the rate per kb/mb would be. I'll get the bill in a few days and its DD so hopefully it wont be too bad. So far in 1hr 30min I've used 4575 kb. Logging off after this post. So how many kb to mb? (1000?) How many mb to gb? (1000 again?) treated myself to a USB mini-mouse for my laptop. Much easier to use when I remember to use it.

I make 3G to be 3072 mg and I had a pop up message last week to say I had reached my limit which I'm sure is 3G. Downloaded Rounders. A film about poker. Watched it last week and managed to put it on disc. Now MP is not working right. Watching this morning and stopped it and found out I cant use the step or fast forward so now having to play it from the beginning.

I may take the torrent thing off my laptop and just use my home PC for downloads. Only had it since November and already it probably needs a complete cleanout and reboot. Will have to dig my back up disc out. The drives about full already. I also have Pocast which did not work very well and a couple of games that dont work with Vista or ones I dont play.
